5784 The Year & Season Of Doors

Late one July night I felt the Lord invite me to forgo sleep and come spend time with Him. God did not disappoint. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. It didn’t take long before the Lord began to encounter me, and I was caught into a vision. I saw this door open, and I saw the Lord call me up to this new door. I heard the Lord say, “As we round August, we’re coming into a Revelation 4:1 time and season as we go into 5784.” I saw August as a hinge thrusting us upward through the door in September as we step into the new Hebrew Year 5784. July has been a time of rest and completion. God is closing one door to open the new door He has for you. 

Doors are portals or openings of light that allow spiritual activity like angelic beings to go between heaven and earth. Portals are released from heaven to earth. Portals can be demonic or godly. Notable portals referenced in the Bible are Jacob's ladder in Genesis 28 and in John 1. In John 1:47-51, Jesus shows Nathaniel a new revelation concerning heavenly portals. No longer are angels ascending and descending on the earth in a specific place, they are now descending on upon Jesus. This was a new revelation Jesus released to say you no longer have to wait at a certain time or place, I am the portal. Wherever Jesus is there will always be an open door/portal to heaven. In this Revelation 4:1 season, God is calling His people up to a new dimension and place of maturity. To operate in the things of God we must be in the spirit where we are seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Because of Christ, we have access to places and realms in Christ. It's time for new revelation and new places in Christ for us to encounter. As we encounter these places we will learn to live from them and live out of them. He wants to reveal to you the things to come.      

In my studying about 5784, I discovered 4 is the Hebrew letter dalet. Dalet means poor, door, and to lift up. One of the reasons the warfare has been so intense is because we’re at the threshold of a new door. Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 16:9 NKJV, “9 For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.” A door or a gate is a place of authority. Doors represent places of transition. You are stepping from one realm to the next. The threshold marks the ending and the beginning of a thing. When you open a door, you are splitting the atmosphere to step into the next room. For many of you, July was the closing and completion of a chapter in your life. As you step into August and 5784, you’re stepping into a new chapter. The old has gone and the new is here. There is much buzz and anticipation surrounding the month August. There is truly a shift taking place.

1.Doors Of Influence

Depending what door, you step into they can shape our views and influence us. God told Abraham in Genesis 15:5, “5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” It wasn’t until Abraham stepped out of the door into a new place, that he got new perspective. In that moment his mind went from doubt to faith. Abraham’s tent represented his old season and mindset. As excited as we can be for the new, we can sabotage ourselves if we stay in the same door only peering into the new. We must step out of fear and into faith to go through the door.

As God is bringing you through doors of promotion, you must prepare your heart. This is what the Lord was doing to Abraham. David said it like this in Psalm 119:32, “I will run in the way of your commandments when you enlarge my heart!” In other translations it says, “enlarge my understanding.” For us to enter the doors and places God has for us in 5784, we must have a great capacity in every area of our lives. We can’t operate in the same wineskin we did last season and expect new results. We need the Lord’s help expanding our borders because, new opportunities and experiences put a greater demand and pull on us. We must be ready for the increase.

2. Doors & Keys

 I believe as we come into 5784, we’re coming into a greater measure and revelation of the Key of David. In Isaiah 22, it depicts the story of Shebna and Eliakim. Shebna was the keeper of the house during the reign of Hezekiah but become prideful. Because of His pride and desire to be like God, the Lord demoted him and raised up Eliakim in his place. Isaiah 22:20-22 says, “‘Then it shall be in that day, that I will call My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah; 21 I will clothe him with your robe and strengthen him with your belt; I will commit your responsibility into his hand. He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. 22 The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open.”

We are entering into a great season of demotion and promotion in the Body of Christ. We will even see this in the secular realm. God is positioning new gatekeepers in His house, removing those who have puffed themselves up. God is giving new keys of authority to those who have remained humble and pure. Those who carry and clothe themselves in Christ will carry the ultimate key, the Key of David. What is the Key of David, Jesus Christ himself. I hear the Lord saying, “access will be granted to those who will carry the Key of David.” The Key of David will enable gatekeepers to open or close gates over different cities, regions, and nations. This will be key for intercessors going forward. God is releasing new strategies and keys to His intercessors to see long awaited breakthrough. I declare and decree frustration and weariness is breaking off intercessors now in Jesus amen. What has been hard will be made easy and what has been in the way will be made low. God is releasing the right key for you as you wait on Him.

3. Doors Of Testing

There will be doors of testing that we will encounter in 5784. At the root of the Hebrew word dalet, one of the meanings is to separate the wheat from the chaff. We are going to continue to see a very noticeable dividing line in the Body of Christ. There is too much mixture going on in the Body of Christ. Daniel 2:35 says, “35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.” Because there has been so much mixture in the Body of Christ, it’s producing an image that no longer looks like Christ.

  Those who are unwilling to be tested by the fire of God, will be disqualified by the Lord. Being tested and branded by God’s fire makes you legal in the realm of the spirit. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:13-14, “13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.” It will become clearer as time goes on who is building on Christ or building their own kingdom.

  In 5784, there will be an increase of persecution in the earth and in the United States. I see persecution coming through certain laws being passed, and certain freedoms being at stake. There will be more exposure and news stories coming forth concerning how much our government is truly monitoring us.  Believers cannot back down or shrink back in fear. We must stand on the Word of God and push back the agenda of darkness that really wants to take a hold of this nation. Even though the persecution will increase, Jesus will be the 4th man in the fire with us (Daniel 3). No matter what your fiery furnace looks like, God is still with you and his glory will be magnified through your life. Your testing will be your testimony for all to see.

4. Doors Of Humility

The picture of the Hebrew word dalet, represents not only a door but a poor person. Not necessarily poor in monetary things but, one who walks in lowliness and is aware they possess nothing of their own. They are aware what they have comes from God and, without him they have nothing. The Hebrew word dilisoni derived from dalet, means to lift me up. As you wait upon God in this season, trust His timing for your life. Don’t lift yourself up, let God lift you up and promote you in the right time (1 Peter 5:6-7). He is the glory and lifter of your head and will lift you above your enemies.

Recently, I had a very disturbing dream about the spirit of pride in the prophetic. In this dream I was talking to another prophet. They were sitting at their vanity mirror getting ready to put on their persona. This prophet began to tell me that my godly declarations did not carry the same power as their declarations. They emphasized their declarations were more powerful as they used the mirror to speak to themselves. This reminded me of the evil queen in Snow White. She would speak to the mirror and say, “Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all.” I immediately woke up with the fear of the Lord. This stayed with me for a few days after. The Lord showed me there are many prophets operating out of pride and tapping into the soulish realm to empower themselves. It’s opening a door to allow witchcraft to operate in their lives. Jesus must be the only source from which we prophesy and move in. If you find yourself in this place repent, and let Jesus be the source and power you move in.

 5. Other Insights

We must continue to pray for the nations and cover the waters. The enemy wants to bait nations to start war in the waters. I had an encounter one night a few months ago, where I found myself on the horizon of the waters. I saw the spirit of leviathan lurking in the waters waiting to strike. We must pray against any events in the waters that would start a war.

Continue to pray for creation and weather patterns. There will continue to be unusual weather patterns more in more. Be wise. Prepare as you need to.

Pray for the 2024 elections, there will be much turbulence leading up to them and after. 

I saw another wave of revival and awakening hit college campuses again that will make the news. The spirit of God is breathing upon the young generations.
